ACADEMY OF FINANCE at Manasquan High School
YOUR DONATION DIRECTLY HELPS OUR STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIPS, FIELD TRIPS, AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS.
Any donation that you can make to the students of the Academy of Finance would be greatly appreciated. Our fundraising has become increasingly difficult and the costs of our field trip and instructional materials have also increased. In the past, we have been able to fundraise and give scholarships to our seniors and the numbers of students applying has increased dramatically. We have been able to provide over $100,000 in scholarships over the past 15 years and would like to continue to support our current Academy of Finance members.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The Academy of Finance at Manasquan High School has graduated over 525 students in the past 20 years with college level business and finance classes earning 12-15 college credits through Georgian Court University's Course Ahead program. Manasquan High School students graduate and enter college with a head start in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Sports Management and Financial Planning. Students have attended field trips to Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Make A Wish Foundation, Jersey Shore Blue Claws, Philadelphia Federal Reserve and the US Mint. All students work at a paid internship at a local business between their junior and senior year and receive a Certificate of Financial Studies at a graduation ceremony at the end of their senior year.
